
Meet Joanna
Registered Psychologist
B.Psych (Hons), M. Public Health
Joanna Turek is a Registered Psychologist with a strong background in both public and private health settings. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's in Public Health, she has extensive experience supporting individuals of all ages in navigating their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.
With a particular interest in sport and health psychology, Joanna prioritises a holistic and person-centred approach, viewing each individual as the expert of their own experience.
Drawing from a range of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness, Joanna tailors her approach to each individual.
She is available from Wednesday March 19th for diagnostic assessments, ongoing therapy. You may also catch her facilitating one of her engaging group programs!
